Pueraria Mirifica : Properties
 The components that make
Pueraria Mirifica different is phyto-oestrogens present
in other plants are Miroestrol and Deoxymiroestrol,
which have a structural similarity to estradiol. The
Miroestrol is actually the first component isolated from
this plant by a group of German chemists in 1940, but
the lab to report erroneously that the plant was the
Butea Superba. It was later classified as a new species
as Pueraria Mirifica.
The discovery and isolation of deoxymiroestrol on root
of Pueraria Mirifica has been reported in the "Journal of
Natural Products". The author of this article showed
that the deoximiroestrol is the main chemical
constituent Pueraria Mirifica.
 But it is conceivable that the coexistence between the
two phytoestrogens of the root, they are very similar to
that of estradiol. In addition miorestrol and
deoxymiroestrol the Pueraria Mirifica also contains
other chemicals that belong to the family of isoflavones
such as genistein, daidzein, daidzin, genistin and coumestrol which are generally discoverable in
soybeans. However, the estrogenic activity of miroestrol

isoflavones.
